Bubba's BBQ

First time coming here, and it won't be the last! The food was overall quite tasty. My pulled chicken was great, and burnt ends were amazing. The fried corn on the cob was made well and seasoned wonderfully. The Mac n cheese is definitely homemade and good, but not my all-time favorite. My husband really liked the pink sauce that came on his Cowboy sandwich. We also picked up some fried pies to go. The cherry was pretty good, and the apple was fine. If you're not a fan of skin on your apple, I'd recommend trying a different flavor of their pies. The service was friendly and very helpful. Also, the music being played was top knotch (Childers, Simpson, Jinks, Bryan, etc.). We definitely plan on going back!

Another update - I took a friend to Bubbas. We both got the 3 meat platter meals. I got the burnt ends (as always), ham and sausage. My friend got burnt ends, turkey, and pulled pork. My friend loved it all, mine was good but his burnt ends were cooked perfectly mine weren't cooked near enough, no burnt parts at all! But my friends were great and I'm happy about that. The only thing that was not good, it was freezing inside the restaurant. It was in the upper 40s outside... but my friend had to go get his coat and I had to put mine back on... way too cold. I think my burnt ends were a fluke, I'm still at 5 stars and I still recommend it and will go back. Update- We went back and Bubba's BBQ is still 5 stars! We shared the 5 meat platter, ham, burnt ends, brisket, pulled pork, and smoked sausage. All great!!!! Loved the sauces too. The sides were okra, fries, and baked beans. They were all good, the beans were great! Great service and the place was clean. I recommend it and will return for sure! Original review- Bubba's BBQ was excellent! I had my fave, the Burnt Ends. Actually, my wife and I had the pick 4 meats and two sides meal. Burnt ends, brisket, pulled pork and ham Sides were fried corn on the cob and fried Okra. All were superb! Great service, great food, the place was clean, food was hot and fast. Would recommend and certainly will return!

Best burnt ends I’ve ever had! If you just want flavorful meat without drowning in sauce, this is the place for you. The burnt ends were well cooked and sufficiently fatty! Loved them. Great, friendly folks working here as well. I travel through Springfield monthly, this will be my new food stop...get it for take out and enjoy the lawn over at Mothers brewing.

I’m a truck driver and was hungry for some bbq. I’m not local so I was relying on other reviews. These guys and gals have some of the best bbq I’ve had in a long time. I just wanted to make sure everyone knows this. The sauce is slappin. That coleslaw... I see what you did with that kiss of horseradish. Just delicious. Okra and fries were on point. Full slap of tender ribs. Easy to eat. From a hard working truck driver thank you.

The bbq is up there with the best around! The smoke flavor in my opinion is the best in Springfield! Great prices for what you get!

This was a road trip pit stop for my husband and I, we were wanting something more substantial than fast food. This place absolutely didn’t disappoint. We ordered the combination platter with burnt ends and sliced brisket. Brisket was sliced super thin and had excellent flavor. The burnt ends were so tender, they melt in your mouth. BBQ sauce selection was wonderful, we utilized the mild, the spicy, and the gold sauce went really well with the sweet potato fries. Top tier BBQ! This place would fit in well with the best of KC bbq. I’ll come back if I’m ever in Springfield.

Delicious food!! The pit beans are incredible and honestly I would go back just for those! Luckily all of the other dishes I've had have also been very good! The staff are always kind and helpful as well!
